Type ‘mcafee (without quotes) or the desired name of the file) in the blank box and then hit the Find Next button or the Enter key. You will see the list of McAfee files in the right hand pane. Delete all of them and continue to next step. 

Now expand the HKEY_CURRENT_USER branch by clicking on the + sign next to it. Navigate to Software and repeat the abovementioned steps to locate and remove McAfee & McAfee.com folders and entries. When done, exit the Registry Editor window and reboot your computer. You must also remove the .dll files associated with the McAfee program to ensure full removal.
